Somwalee started her marketing research career at Nielsen 15 years ago and, over the years, has made consistent outstanding contributions in various leadership roles she has played in Consumer Insights (FMCG and non-FMCG, Food retail and Banking), Auto IPG and Media business.

 

Somwalee is currently leading Nielsen Thailand.  She brings people skills, strategic thinking, extensive experience and integrity to Thailand’s Managing Director Role. Her strength is her client / Industry focus coupled with the attitude of ‘having outside–in thinking’, which helps her pro-actively think of client solutions integrating existing Nielsen assets to drive greater impact and to help the client win in the marketplace.

 

She has shown excellent organizational, business acumen and talent grooming skills that help in building a strong organization. As one of the very few leaders who have a very strong hands-on experience across the Buy & Watch business of Nielsen, Somwalee has placing the value of ‘Integration’ with the client and the people on top of her mind to help the company stay in the forefront of the business in the coming years in Thailand.

 

Somwalee graduated from Thammasat University, International Program, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
